Turnover 1.0

Turnover is an original puzzle game, developed by Erik J. Lange. You are presented with a rectangular game matrix of two-sided tiles, each side in a different colour. The game play consists or turning rows, columns or diagonal lines of tiles, in order to bring back a randomized state to the completed begin state in which all tiles display one and the same colour.

You are free to choose from 4 backgrounds and 20 tile colours to customize the interface to your preferences. Also, you can choose your own difficulty level, by changing the size of the game matrix which starts at the easy 3x3 and goes up to the incredible level of 20x20 in the licensed version of Turnover (only up to 4x4 in the free demo).

See the full documentation for details.

The demo version

To download the demo now (3.1 MB), click the button below. (System requirements are Windows XP and the .NET Framework 2.0. See the full documentation for installation details.)

The full (licensed) version

If you are pleased with the demo, and want to try out the more difficult levels, you need to buy a licence key. With a licence key you can upgrade your already installed demo version to the full version easily. See the full documentation for details. You can purchase the necessary licence keys for only € 5,00 (in words: five euro). (Since a licence key will bind Turnover to one computer, and you'll maybe want to play it on a new computer in the future too, you are entitled to 2 licence keys for this all-in-one price.)

Buying is easy and safe, via PayPal. Simply click the button below to start the purchase process. But before you do, please consider the following:

1. Make sure the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed. See the full documentation for details.

2. Then, install the demo of Turnover on the computer on which you wish to run the full version. If you want to play the full version on two different computers, then install it on both. Check if the demo runs without problems. If the demo works okay, the full version will work fine as well. Do not purchase the full version if you can't run Turnover normally! There are no refunds.

3. Right-click the Help icon (the question mark) at the bottom of the Options box in Turnover. In the Your machine identifier read-only text box, a number should appear. If, in some unforeseen case, it doesn't, you cannot buy licence keys for that computer.

4. You must have a valid e-mail address.

If all is okay, you can start the purchase process by clicking the button below. PayPal offers several payment methods, so don't hesitate to check it out.

5. After, and only after, PayPal has confirmed your transaction, please send an e-mail to ,
and in the body of the e-mail just note the following data:

- the machine identifier(s) of the computer(s) on which you are going to play Turnover. See step 3 about how to get that number. The best way to copy such a complex number is to select it with the mouse and press Ctrl+C to copy it, switch to your e-mail message and press Ctrl+V to paste it. That way you can't make any errors in copying the number.

- the name of the holder of the (credit) card or account with which you made the transaction at PayPal.

- the date on which you completed the transaction.

Note that your name and the purchase date will only be used to check if your payment came through. Your machine identifier will only be used to create a licence key for you.

6. Normally, you'll receive your licence key(s) within 48 hours of your request by e-mail. Only once or twice a year, during the summer and winter holidays, it may take several weeks. If you haven't heard anything within three weeks, please send the e-mail again.

7. Copy the licence key from the e-mail you've received, to Turnover, and save it to register your copy. See the full documentation for details. You are now ready to take on 5x4 and higher difficulty levels. Enjoy!
